    Sharp Sand

Sharp sand is a versatile and essential material for laying durable and stable paving. Made from crushed rocks with sharp edges, it is commonly used for mixing with cement to create a strong and sturdy base for laying paving stones, slabs, and bricks. The sharp edges of the sand allow it to interlock with the cement, providing excellent bonding properties that are essential for creating a reliable and long-lasting foundation. This helps to prevent the paving from moving or shifting over time, even under heavy foot traffic or vehicular loads.Sharp sand is also ideal for providing drainage, as its coarse texture allows water to pass through easily. This helps to prevent water from pooling under the paving, which can cause damage and erosion over time. Our sharp sand is of the highest quality, with consistent particle size and shape, ensuring a consistent mix when used with cement. It is carefully screened and washed to remove any impurities, ensuring that it is free from clay, silt, and other contaminants that can weaken the bond between the sand and cement.Whether you are a professional landscaper or a DIY enthusiast, our sharp sand is the perfect choice for laying paving that will stand the test of time.

    Grey Gravel

Our beautiful 20mm Grey Limestone Chippings are the perfect addition to your garden paradise.  Suitable for - Decorative Areas - Driveways - Borders - Artificial Grass Base Layer Perfect for use as an artificial grass sub base. We only ever lay our artificial grass on a drainage stone (1st layer ) and grano dust (2nd layer) base. This provides adequate drainage and a solid base layer which will stay solid for years to come. This is something that, in our opinion, a dolomite and sharp sand base does not guarantee.

  • Dolomite 1" Down (Fine) - The Landscape Factory

    Dolomite 1" Down (Fine)

1" down dolomite is an excellent material for use as a sub base for paving projects. Its durability and resistance to weathering make it an ideal choice for this application. When used as a sub base, it provides a stable foundation that helps to prevent shifting, settling, and cracking of the pavers. To use 1" down dolomite as a sub base, the area must first be excavated to the desired depth. The dolomite is then spread evenly over the excavated area and compacted using a plate compactor or other suitable equipment. This compaction process helps to ensure that the dolomite is tightly packed and provides a stable foundation for the pavers.
